Hello! We are the Matzke family! Adam and I (Selina) both grew up in Midland, Michigan and met in 2011 through a small group at our church. We began dating in July 2013, got engaged later that year and were married on March 14th, 2014. Adam’s degree is in finance. After college he worked in banking up until we moved overseas. My degree is in nursing and I worked for about a year as a floor nurse before becoming a stay-at-home mom. We have four kids; a 7 year old daughter named Mia, a 5 year old son named Desmond, a 2 year old daughter named Evie and a baby girl named Ebba who was born May 2025.
We both felt called to cross-cultural work prior to getting married and have now been pursuing it as a family. We are so excited for the adventures ahead! We spent all of 2022 in Albertville, France for French language school and then moved to Dakar, Senegal in 2023 where we have been living and working since.
